Angelo Dundee’s passing discussed, Mayweather vs Cotto May 5th!

On todays Talkin Boxing with Billy C show, Billy started out providing the latest boxing news and spoke about legendary boxing Icon Angelo Dundee’s passing yesterday. Daxx Khan stopped by shared a memory of his own about Angelo then discussed thoughts on Mayweather vs Cotto coming up May 5th. After some small phone line glitches that will be resolved VERY soon Daxx provided his top fight card picks to watch this weekend aside from ESPN Friday night fights and Saturdays HBO card that will headline Nonito Donaire versus Wilfredo Vazquez Jr.

Mention of the new column on Billy C Boxing that will be titled “Prospect of the week” was made. Daxx encouraged listeners to send in prospect names whom they might be interested in learning more about. Those names MUST have less than 15 fights and winning records. Today Billy had an opinionated morning on just about everything going on in the sport today. from Andre Berto’s injury through Mike Tyson being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, Plus the Billy C Boxing Hall of Fame class of 2012 was announced. Brian Minto’s integrity was put into question as he was just about knocked out with a glance last Saturday evening in Verona NY against Tony Grano.

The heavyweight spotlight segment was focused on the frightful bruiser of the 1960′s former heavyweight kingpin Sonny Liston.
